I.V. Cannula & Wound Dressings

I.V. Cannula Transparent Film Dressing

Transparent film dressing is made of high-permeable polyurethane (PU) film, with high moisture permeable medical degree acrylic adhesive and special coating technology. It can keep normal breath of the skin.

It is indicated that the moisture coming from normal human skin is about 240-1800g/m2/24h/370C. If the moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) is too low, the moisture may gather under the film which may cause maceration and influence the adhesive ability of dressing. Transparent dressing has good quality - high permeability as well as excellent viscosity.

Description:

  • High permeable PU film: 20-40g/m2, thickness 0.015-0.030mm
  • MVTR of PU with flat coating: 1800g/m2/24h/370C
  • MVTR of PU with grid-coating: 3100g/m2/24h/370C
  • Hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive: 25-37g/m2
  • CCK paper, PE or PET protective film
  • Transparent
  • Silicon coated paper

Advantages:

  • High Permeability: avoid causing maceration to the skin
  • Prevent bacteria invasion and diminish the risk of infection
  • Waterproof: Patient can take shower & bath
  • Transparent: wound situation could be observed anytime
  • Soft & Comfortable: suit for different body parts, hypoallergenic
  • Strong Viscosity: could stay on skin for 7 days
  • Safe & Convenient: the design of dressing make it easy operation
  • Various sizes and styles: including paper frame I.V dressing, new utility-style I.V dressing,
hydrocolloid I.V dressing, high-permeable grid-coating transparent dressing, PE foam frame I.V dressing,
non-woven I.V dressing, and could fit to different clinical needs
  • Easy to use: could prevent wrinkling of dressings (absorbent pad could add to the dressing based on customers’
requirements, the pad is with good absorbency, can prevent maceration)

Applications:

  • Fixing I.V catheter, PICC and CVC, etc.
  • Fixing anaesthesia catheter, pulmonary artery catheter, hemodialysis catheter, kidney dialysis and PCA cannula, etc.
  • Apply for friction skin or wet skin, such as skin care after trachea incision, care for torus of bone, skin care when
    gatism, bedsore precaution, etc.
  • Apply for slight bruise, cut, suturing wounds, etc
  • As a secondary fixation
