Preparation & Application
- Disinfect and allow the prepped skin to dry.
- With the help of two people, remove the liner till stop print.
- Position the Permederm incise Drape on the intended surgical site.
- With a sterile towel, firmly smoothen from the incision site to the border.
- Firmly smooth remainder of drape into place Without tension or wrinkles
Removal
- Create ‘S’ crease by pinching film near the incision’s edge.
- Gently pull up the crease, separating the drape from the skin.
- Cover the incision with dressing before removing the drape.
- Gently peel back the drape at a 180-degree angle from the skin, folding the film back on itself.
- Wet and peel the incise drape to remove it from other materials like towels or line drapes.
